The Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 takes the YTX16-BS case. The Antigravity ATX12-HD RE-START is a drop-in for that case: 480 cranking amps, 3 lb, a built-in jump start that saves enough charge to get you home.

Shop all Kawasaki batteriesWhy the year matters on this one
The Vulcan 1500 is a motorcycle where the battery changed mid-run: 1987 to 1998 takes the ATX12 and 1999 to 2008 the YTX16-BS. The plate above names the source for each year, and the table shows every run we have on file, so match the year to the case before you order.
For 1999 to 2008 that means the Antigravity ATX12-HD RE-START: 480 cranking amps, 3 pounds, the same case in lithium. Its RE-START function puts the battery to sleep before a parasitic draw can drain it, then wakes it with one press for a jump start. Charge it with a lithium-compatible charger or maintainer for the off-season and it outlasts the lead-acid battery it replaces by years.
