Why Lithium Belongs in the Bilge
A 12v marine battery in LiFePO4 holds its voltage flat while a lead-acid battery sags, which your fish finder, livewell pumps and trolling motor all feel by mid-afternoon. Lithium runs the same trolling motor roughly twice as long as the same-size lead battery, weighs about a third as much, shrugs off vibration, and recharges overnight from a proper marine battery charger with a lithium profile. Most packs we carry are sealed against washdowns and rated for thousands of cycles, which in boat years means the battery usually outlives the boat loan.

What is the difference between deep cycle and starting marine batteries?+-
A deep cycle battery delivers steady power for hours, which is trolling motor and electronics work. A starting battery delivers a short, violent burst of amps to crank an engine, then rests. Dual purpose packs split the difference for smaller boats that want one battery doing both jobs.
Can lithium marine batteries handle saltwater environments?+-
Yes. The packs we carry are sealed, typically IP65 to IP67, against spray and washdowns, and there is no acid to leak or vent. Mount them in a dry compartment and treat connections like any other marine electrical gear.
Will lithium work with my boat’s alternator charging?+-
Usually, with a DC-DC charger in between. Lithium accepts charge faster than many alternators want to deliver continuously, so the DC-DC unit protects the alternator while giving the battery a proper lithium profile.
