Jet Ski Battery Charger
A PWC battery lives in a wet hull and sits between weekends, and a lithium one should come back to full on a lithium profile. A jet ski battery charger for LiFePO4 is a compact 12V unit sized to a starting battery: it charges on the bench or on the trailer and keeps the battery ready for the next ride.

Charge on the Bench, Ride at the Ramp
Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner and Kawasaki machines all start on a 12V battery, and a lithium one charges best on a lithium profile. Charge it between trips somewhere dry, and a flat 25Ah battery is full in about 8 hours on the Dakota 12V 3A. At the end of the season, bring it to full and store it above freezing; LiFePO4 loses only a few percent a month. The battery itself is on our jet ski battery shelf.
Jet Ski Battery Charger FAQ
Can I use a regular battery charger on a lithium jet ski battery?+-
Only one with a lithium or LiFePO4 mode. Lead-acid chargers use float and desulfation stages that lithium does not want. The Dakota 12V 3A charges on the profile Dakota specifies for LiFePO4.
How long does a jet ski battery take to charge?+-
About the amp hours divided by the charger’s amps. A flat 25Ah battery takes about 8 hours on the 12V 3A.
How do I store a lithium jet ski battery for winter?+-
Charge it to full, disconnect it, and keep it somewhere dry and above freezing. LiFePO4 loses only a few percent of charge a month, so it is ready when the lake is.
