BOLT was started by Florida cart dealers who spent years installing other companies’ lithium and fixing what broke. The packs show that origin: laser-welded assembly, an automotive-grade BMS, a three-coat steel case, and a Factory Sync line that speaks CAN to factory controllers with no rewiring. Since late 2025 the company is part of Nivel, the aftermarket giant behind MadJax and GTW, which put a 12-year transferable warranty behind every 2026 pack.
We became an authorized BOLT dealer in 2025. The transferable warranty is the quiet headline here: sell your cart and the coverage goes with it, which is worth real money at trade-in time. No other brand on our shelf does that.

Is LithiumBatteryZ an authorized BOLT dealer?+-
Yes, since 2025. That matters here: the Nivel warranty explicitly excludes batteries bought from unauthorized or gray-market sellers, so buying from an authorized dealer like us is what makes the 12-year coverage real.
Is the 12-year warranty really transferable?+-
Yes, and it is the only one we carry that is. If you sell your cart, the new owner registers the transfer within 15 days and keeps the remaining coverage. That is a genuine resale-value edge.
Who owns BOLT?+-
Nivel Parts and Manufacturing acquired Bolt Energy in November 2025. Nivel is one of the largest aftermarket specialty-vehicle parts companies in the country, the family behind MadJax and GTW, which is exactly the kind of backing you want behind a 12-year promise.
What is the heated pack option?+-
For a small upcharge, BOLT builds the pack with an automatic internal heater that warms the cells whenever temperatures drop below 32 F, so winter charging just works. If your cart lives outdoors in a cold climate, get it.
What is Factory Sync?+-
BOLT’s cart-specific line with native CAN bus integration for EZGO TXT and Club Car Vanguard and LG Chem systems. The pack talks to the factory controller directly, so there are no controller swaps and no rewiring.
What has to happen for the warranty to stay valid?+-
Register within 30 days of purchase (we help with that), charge the pack at least once a year, use it in the cart it was built for, and do not open the case. Miss the registration window and coverage is limited to 2 years.

BOLT lithium golf cart batteries were born in Largo, Florida, built by cart dealers who wanted packs they would not have to apologize for. Now part of the Nivel family of brands, BOLT backs every 2026 battery with a 12-year transferable warranty, the strongest transfer terms of any brand we carry. LithiumBatteryZ has been an authorized BOLT dealer since 2025, with 36V, 48V and 72V kits from the 60Ah Fleet pack to the 160Ah Extended Range.
The only warranty that follows the cart
Six full replacement years, six prorated years, and the whole thing transfers to the next owner if you sell. Registration takes two minutes at purchase and we handle it with you. Claims start with a call to us, Mon to Fri, 9a to 6p EST, and we run the Nivel process end to end.
Hardware first, promises second
Automotive-grade BMS, laser-welded prismatic LiFePO4 cells, a triple-coated IP66 steel case, optional self-heating for winter charging, and the Factory Sync CAN line that drops into EZGO TXT and Club Car Vanguard systems without touching the controller. Every kit ships complete from one of our U.S. warehouses with charger, meter and hardware.
