Ionic S6: 720 Cranking Amps for V-Twins and Big Bikes
The Ionic S6 is a 12V LiFePO4 starter battery for bikes that run a YTX20L, YTX20, YTX15L or YTX24HL size battery, the Harley-Davidson Softail and Dyna models and many big cruisers among them. It hits the starter with 720 peak cranking amps (400 CCA) from 4.4 lbs, about 9 lbs lighter than a lead acid YTX20L, and Ionic ships it with the spacers for your battery's case.
Bluetooth is built in, so the Ionic app shows the state of charge before you ride. Emergency Start holds back 25% of the charge: if the battery runs down, press the button or use the app and start the engine. LiFePO4 self-discharges so slowly that the S6 sits out a winter and still starts the bike.
