The Yamaha Virago takes the YB10L-A2 case. The Antigravity ATZ-7 RE-START is a drop-in for that case: 150 cranking amps, 1.3 lb, a built-in jump start that saves enough charge to get you home.

The Virago is a motorcycle where the battery changed mid-run: 1981 to 1982 takes the YB16AL-A2, 1983 the YB12A-A, 1984 to 1985 the YB16AL-A2, 1986 the YTX24HL-BS, 1987 the YB12AL-A2, 1988 to 1999 the YTX24HL-BS and 2000 to 2007 the YB10L-A2. The plate above names the source for each year, and the table shows every run we have on file, so match the year to the case before you order.
For 2000 to 2007 that means the Antigravity ATZ-7 RE-START: 150 cranking amps, 1.3 pounds, the same case in lithium. Its RE-START function puts the battery to sleep before a parasitic draw can drain it, then wakes it with one press for a jump start. Charge it with a lithium-compatible charger or maintainer for the off-season and it outlasts the lead-acid battery it replaces by years.
