The R6 is a motorcycle where the battery changed mid-run: 1999 to 2000 takes the ATZ10, 2001 to 2005 the YT9B-BS, 2006 to 2009 the ATZ10, 2010 to 2016 the YTZ10S and 2017 to 2020 the YTZ7S. The plate above names the source for each year, and the table shows every run we have on file, so match the year to the case before you order.
For 2017 to 2020 that means the Antigravity ATZ-7 RE-START: 150 cranking amps, 1.3 pounds, the same case in lithium. Its RE-START function puts the battery to sleep before a parasitic draw can drain it, then wakes it with one press for a jump start. Charge it with a lithium-compatible charger or maintainer for the off-season and it outlasts the lead-acid battery it replaces by years.
