The Yamaha FJ1200 takes the YTX14-BS case. The Antigravity ATX12 RE-START is a drop-in for that case: 360 cranking amps, 3 lb, a built-in jump start that saves enough charge to get you home.

Shop all Yamaha batteriesWhy the year matters on this one
The FJ1200 is a motorcycle where the battery changed mid-run: 1986 to 1990 takes the YTX14AHL-BS and 1991 to 1993 the YTX14-BS. The plate above names the source for each year, and the table shows every run we have on file, so match the year to the case before you order.
For 1991 to 1993 that means the Antigravity ATX12 RE-START: 360 cranking amps, 3 pounds, the same case in lithium. Its RE-START function puts the battery to sleep before a parasitic draw can drain it, then wakes it with one press for a jump start. Charge it with a lithium-compatible charger or maintainer for the off-season and it outlasts the lead-acid battery it replaces by years.
