What the RZR XP Turbo needs, in plain English

Every RZR XP Turbo from the first 2016 model through 2021 starts on the Group 26 case, a 12-volt starter battery. Polaris ships it with a lead-acid battery that starts to fade after two or three seasons of short rides and off-season storage, and that is usually the day a rider goes looking for something better.

The lithium drop-in is the Antigravity Group 26 RE-START: 850 cranking amps, 9 pounds, the same case in lithium. Its RE-START function puts the battery to sleep before a parasitic draw can drain it, then wakes it with one press for a jump start. Antigravity's list names the Group 26 for this model; Yuasa's guide names the YIX30L case for some trims. Go by the code on your old battery. Charge it with a lithium-compatible charger or maintainer for the off-season and it outlasts the lead-acid battery it replaces by years.

What size battery does a Polaris RZR XP Turbo take?+
The Group 26 case, the same one on every RZR XP Turbo from 2016 to 2021. The Antigravity Group 26 RE-START is the lithium drop-in for it. Antigravity's list names the Group 26 for this model; Yuasa's guide names the YIX30L case for some trims. Go by the code on your old battery.
Will a lithium battery work in an RZR XP Turbo without changes?+
Yes, on a machine with a healthy charging system: the lithium battery uses the same case, the same posts and the same cables, and it drops in where the lead-acid battery sat. Check that the stator and regulator hold a steady charge, fill any gap in the tray with the foam spacers most lithium UTV batteries include, and match the terminal layout of the battery you are replacing.
Do I need a different charger for a lithium UTV battery?+
Use a charger or maintainer with a lithium (LiFePO4) mode. A lead-acid trickle charger can push the wrong voltage profile, and a desulfation mode can damage a lithium pack. A lithium-profile maintainer over the off-season keeps it topped without harm, and the battery loses only a few percent of charge a month sitting on its own.
