The Polaris Ranger 900 takes the Group 26 case. The Antigravity Group 26 RE-START is a drop-in for that case: 850 cranking amps, 9 lb, a built-in jump start that saves enough charge to get you home.

Why the year matters on this one

The Ranger 900 is a UTV where the battery changed mid-run: 2013 takes the ATX30 and 2014 to 2019 the Group 26. The plate above names the source for each year, and the table shows every run we have on file, so match the year to the case before you order.

For 2014 to 2019 that means the Antigravity Group 26 RE-START: 850 cranking amps, 9 pounds, the same case in lithium. Its RE-START function puts the battery to sleep before a parasitic draw can drain it, then wakes it with one press for a jump start. Charge it with a lithium-compatible charger or maintainer for the off-season and it outlasts the lead-acid battery it replaces by years.

What size battery does a Polaris Ranger 900 take?+
It depends on the year: 2013 takes the ATX30 and 2014 to 2019 the Group 26. For 2014 to 2019 that is the Antigravity Group 26 RE-START, the lithium drop-in for the Group 26 case. The table above shows every run we have on file, so match your year to the case before you order.
Will a lithium battery work in a Ranger 900 without changes?+
Yes, on a machine with a healthy charging system: the lithium battery uses the same case, the same posts and the same cables, and it drops in where the lead-acid battery sat. Check that the stator and regulator hold a steady charge, fill any gap in the tray with the foam spacers most lithium UTV batteries include, and match the terminal layout of the battery you are replacing.
Do I need a different charger for a lithium UTV battery?+
Use a charger or maintainer with a lithium (LiFePO4) mode. A lead-acid trickle charger can push the wrong voltage profile, and a desulfation mode can damage a lithium pack. A lithium-profile maintainer over the off-season keeps it topped without harm, and the battery loses only a few percent of charge a month sitting on its own.
