Ionic S4: A Lithium Battery Sized for the Cub Cadet XT1, XT2 and Ultima
Cub Cadet's current XT1 and XT2 Enduro tractors and Ultima ZT1 and ZT2 zero turns do not take the full-size Group U1 found in most riding mowers. They start on part 725P17335, a compact 12V AGM rated 210 cold cranking amps, the same size as a YTZ14S powersports battery. The Ionic S4 is Ionic's lithium battery for that size: 500 peak cranking amps (300 CCA) from 3.3 lbs, built for motorcycles, UTVs, ATVs and newer lawn mowers.
The S4 itself is a little smaller than the 725P17335, so it ships with Ionic's fitment spacers for the YTZ14S size and sits snug in the tray. Bluetooth is built in: the Ionic app shows the state of charge before you pull the mower out in spring, and LiFePO4 self-discharges so slowly that it sits out the winter and still starts the mower.

Fits the Cub Cadet XT1 and XT2 Enduro series (the XT1 LT42 and LT46 among them) and the Ultima ZT1 and ZT2 zero turns that take the 725P17335. Cub Cadets that take a full-size Group U1 or U1R, like the older LTX tractors, want a U1 from our lawn mower shelf instead. Your mower's charging system keeps it topped up as you mow. For storage, any 12V charger with a lithium (LiFePO4) mode works; a lead-acid tender with a desulfation setting is hard on lithium cells, so retire the old one.
