The Kawasaki Vulcan 500 takes the YB12A-A case. The Antigravity ATX12-AH RE-START is a drop-in for that case: 360 cranking amps, 3 lb, a built-in jump start that saves enough charge to get you home.

The Vulcan 500 is a motorcycle where the battery changed mid-run: 1990 to 1996 takes the YB12A-A and 1997 to 2009 the YB12AL-A2. The plate above names the source for each year, and the table shows every run we have on file, so match the year to the case before you order.
For 1990 to 1996 that means the Antigravity ATX12-AH RE-START: 360 cranking amps, 3 pounds, the same case in lithium. Its RE-START function puts the battery to sleep before a parasitic draw can drain it, then wakes it with one press for a jump start. Charge it with a lithium-compatible charger or maintainer for the off-season and it outlasts the lead-acid battery it replaces by years.
