Dakota Lithium started in 2013 building batteries for the kind of North Dakota weather that kills lesser packs, and the brand still engineers in Grand Forks. The golf line inherits that pedigree: an 11-year warranty on every pack, Even-Heat internal heating on the DL+ sets, and a flat voltage curve that gives you full power down to the last mile instead of a slow fade.
We became an authorized Dakota dealer in 2025, and they are the bridge brand in our lineup: the same company powers 200 plus professional anglers, RV house banks and off-grid cabins. As we light up our RV and marine categories, Dakota is the name that will already be on the shelf.

Yes. We have been an authorized Dakota Lithium dealer since 2025, with direct access to Dakota for warranty claims and technical questions.
Does the famous 11-year warranty apply to golf cart packs?+-
Yes. Every core Dakota battery we sell for golf carts carries the full 11-year manufacturer defect warranty. Their powersports starter batteries carry shorter terms, so keep the two straight when comparing.
Do I need to register the battery?+-
No, and that is unique in our lineup. Coverage runs off your original order. Buy from us and we keep the record, so a claim is one phone call.
Can Dakota packs charge in freezing weather?+-
The DL+ sets can: Even-Heat warms the cells automatically so the pack accepts a charge below 32 F. The standard 48V 105Ah single pack blocks charging below freezing to protect itself, so cold-climate owners should choose the DL+ route.
Is there a phone app?+-
Not on the 48V 105Ah single pack. It uses an LCD readout with RS485 and CAN connectivity, and Dakota’s spec sheet lists Bluetooth as not included. If app monitoring matters to you, look at our ECO, Allied or BOLT pages.
Does Dakota make batteries beyond golf carts?+-
More than anyone else we carry: trolling motor and marine packs, RV and van house banks, powersports starters, and off-grid solar storage. We are bringing those categories online at LithiumBatteryZ now.
